Just in time for Halloween...introducing our newest (wee) foster boy, PUMPKIN!

With Halloween just around the corner, I couldn't think of a more appropriate name (and time) to introduce you to our newest foster boy PUMPKIN (all 5 lbs of him!!), arriving on October 4th.   Pumpkin comes to us from a U.S. shelter, where his chances were little to none of surviving.  You see, shelter staff (well meaning) mis-judged his age and guessed him to be around 8 years old, approximately.  This is considered (almost) a  'senior' at that age, practically a death sentence in a shelter. :(    The good news is that after being seen by vets, his 'new' age is now estimated to be approximately 2 !  Wow, what a difference.  Vets look at a dogs teeth to more accurately estimate a dogs age.  Here are a few pictures of Pumpkin in the shelter and on his FREEDOM ride to Canada!

Watch for Pumpkin's 'close-up' with Sheikh Photographers, coming SOON!
